Licensing
According to the Arkansas State Board of Nursing’s website, “The mission of the ASBN is to protect the public and act as their advocate by effectively regulating the practice of nursing.”
The ASBN oversees the examinations, continuing education and licensure for those pursuing a career in nursing as well as those interested in returning to the workforce or moving here from another state. Some nurses desire to increase their knowledge and experience so they are able to transition into other areas of nursing.
