Requirements:

• Arkansas residents who are enrolling or enrolled as a full-time student at any accredited Arkansas College or University
• Minimum cumulative 3.00 GPA (based on transcript).
• Demonstrate financial need.
• Provide three (3) letters of recommendation from two (2) current or previous distance learning faculty & a college/university administrator .
• Complete a brief essay on assigned topic.

Application Process:

1. Complete the Scholarship Application Form (PDF - Click Here)
2. Provide the following documentation :
• Two letters of recommendation from distance learning instructors (current or previous)
• One letter of recommendation from a university/college administrator
• Official college transcript, or high school transcript for high school students
  • Distance learning courses must be identified
3. A 500-word essay on "What Distance Learning Has Done For Me".
   • Application has specific topics and questions to address

Miscellaneous Information:

If mailed, essays MUST be postmarked by April 29th.
